Departure from the airport in Temuco and head towards Pucón (109 Km. – paved road), a lovely town located by the shore of Villarrica lake.

Visit the volcanic caves (30 Km. paved and unpaved road), one of the two volcanic caves open to the public in the world, to see the geologic structure of these tunnels formed after several eruptions of Villarrica volcano. On the way back to Pucón, we recommend visiting the handicrafts market.

Today, visit Huerquehue National Park and get to know the best landscapes of araucarias forests, waterfalls, lakes and lagoons of the Region of La Araucanía. There are different self-guided trek trails that will take you to different lakes ( Lake Verde, Lake Chico and Lake Toro). These are moderate treks that are ideal for families. You can also trek to Villarica Volcano. In winter, it is possible to ski and snowboard.

Before arriving to Puerto Varas, we recommend visiting the beautiful town of Frutillar, located on the shores of Llanquihue Lake; there, it is possible to lunch or enjoy the famous confectionery of German influence.

We also recommend visiting Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where it is possible to appreciate Saltos de Petrohué and Osorno Volcano.
