Itinerary Description

Day 1 Welcome to Rio de Janeiro!

After your private transfer to your hotel, You will discover the major city attractions - from the traditional areas to the nicest beaches in Rio de Janeiro: Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. We also include a visit to Tijuca Forest and the Amsterdam Sauer Gemstones Museum.

Day 2 Full Day Overview Tour of Rio  

Combine two of Rio's most popular tours on a full-day private tour packed with breathtaking views. You'll travel through the Tijuca Rain Forest by cog train to the statue of Christ the Redeemer on top of Corcovado Mountain. In the afternoon, you'll ride a cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain. This tour is an excellent option if your time in Rio de Janeiro is limited, giving you the best of Rio in one great day.

Day 3 Guanabara Bay Cruise and Sugar Loaf  

Spend half a day sailing on Guanabara Bay, for the most beautiful views of Rio de Janeiro. In the afternoon, you will visit the Sugar Loaf. This famous mountain is reached by cable car at a height of 1,200 feet. Looking down on the city from Sugar Loaf, you'll see one of the most spectacular views in the world. This is an experience you'll never forget!

Day 4 Fly to Foz do Iguaçu and visit Iguassu Falls (Brazilian side)  

Fly from Rio de Janeiro to Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil). Upon arrival, a bilingual Guide and a separate driver will meet you at the Airport and drive you directly to Iguassu National Park to discover one of South America’s natural wonders, Iguassu Falls. You will walk through forested foothpaths on the Brazilian side of the falls for panoramic views of the water walls. At the end of the tour, you will cross into Argentina to check in at the hotel.

Day 5 Iguazu National Park (Argentine side)  

You will visit the National Park to take in the largest and most famous section of Iguassu Falls. In the morning, head to the most important viewpoint: Devil’s Throat. Walk along trails that provide access to the forest, offering close-up views of the falls and opportunities to see tropical birds, flowers and butterflies. In the afternoon, cruise by zodiac boat raft up the Lower Iguazu River.

Day 6  Fly to Buenos Aires  

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Buenos Aires for check In. Spend the afternoon getting to know the Argentine capital at your leisure.

Day 7 Enjoy the Most Comprehensive Tour of Buenos Aires  

This is a detailed tour of Buenos Aires best architecture and landmarks. It’s the perfect way of getting your bearings in the city and discovering all the latest architectural gems. Day 8 Visit San Antonio de Areco and a traditional Estancia in the Pampas  

Discover the gaucho culture of Argentina at the tiny town of San Antonio de Areco. See colonial architecture, visit old grocery stores where gauchos meet, and get to know local artisans. Nestled in lush farmlands on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, San Antonio de Areco was described by Lonely Planet as “probably the prettiest town in the Pampas." Visit a working ranch (Estancia) to listen to folk music, and watch gauchos demonstrate their horse skills.

Day 9: San Isidro, Tigre and Delta of the Parana River  

This half day tour explores the residential areas of San Isidro and Tigre, and the beautiful Delta of Paraná River, where you will sail narrow streams and rivers while enjoying the landscape and learning about the islanders unique lifestyle. Soon after sailing, you will visit Tigre’s famous Puerto de Futos, one of the largest crafts markets in the country, where the local craftsmen sell their wicker and wood crafts, leather products and all types of souvenirs.

Day 10: Goodbye Buenos Aires!
